Navajo Elementary School has pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and a wide array of offerings to meet the needs of all learners. The community-centric supportive culture celebrates student academic and leadership achievements.

Personalized notes, like postcards and thank-you cards, sent to every student, foster a sense of connection and positive reinforcement.

All students have a comprehensive learning experience including Music, Band, Art, Strings, and PE. Individualized learning and support systems ensure the diverse needs of all learners are met. After-school enrichment programs, including Leadership Club and Harry Potter Club, cater to diverse student interest and foster a sense of responsibility and belonging.

The 21st Century Grant provides free before and after-school care, tutoring, and clubs, setting Navajo apart with its commitment to comprehensive student support. 

Navajo’s emphasis on the four C's—Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity—instills a holistic approach to education that align with the campus’ unique offerings such as the innovators Lab, art room and playgrounds.  STEM Cognia Certification places Navajo among the top schools in the state.  Signature grade-level projects and partnerships with organizations like Saguaro Math and Science Academy highlight Navajo's commitment to innovative and hands-on learning. Innovative, creative, and future-focused teaching and learning that emphasizes problem-solving and real-world applications.

Navajo prioritizes the sense of family, with weekly newsletters, Navajo Connects packets, and personalized connections between grade-level families.  Family STEAM Nights in January and May provide engaging activities for families and showcase student achievements.  Monthly Family Read Events draw nearly 200 people, fostering a love for reading and strong family-school connections.

Monthly student and staff recognitions, cultural celebrations, and a strong focus on positive behavior and attendance contribute to a thriving educational environment.   Navajo Elementary School is more than an educational institution; it's a community that prioritizes holistic student development, family engagement, and innovation in learning. About our Campus

Visitors

Parents who are scheduled to volunteer on campus are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor sticker any time they are on campus. Other adult visitors must make arrangements with the front office to visit our campus. Student visitors are not permitted.
